Jerry is an inspirational trainer, his determination, skill and understanding has helped me lose weight, feel younger and set me on the road to a healthier and happier life. Jerry’s enthusiasm is infectious and his training technique inspires confidence and self belief. I am now training at a level that I would not have thought possible six months ago. I have lost 25 lbs in the last 3 months alone and feel better than ever. Health concerns such as acne, IBS, low back pain and high blood pressure are a thing of the past.

I look forward to each session and each session is different to the last. Jerry’s Holistic approach has made fitness fun again and I continue to work with him on a week to week basis.

Leading up to competition last year Jerry was heavily involved in preparing me mentally and physically. He helped me design my training program, recommending full changes and subtle tweaks which helped fit the program perfectly to myself. He also spent quite a lot of time with me, helping me perfect technical aspects of the Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift.

In the months beforehand Jerry had helped me diagnose and treat two niggling injuries which would no doubt have held me back in competition. Most serious of which was the intermittent shoulder pain I was experiencing. After examination, Jerry gave me a list of corrective exercises and showed me how to execute them properly.

This lead to a full recovery and thankfully has helped me avoid any major shoulder injuries despite a heavy training load. He also advised me on nutrition and supplementation, as well as helping with the psychological aspects of heavy training and competition. So that’s a big thumbs up from me

The trend in the past few years in GAA player development has moved away from traditional weights programmes to programmes with a great emphasis on core strength, flexibility and conditioning. To assist the club with the transition to this new methodology we asked Jerry Coffey to come and educate not only our players but also our coaches.

In 2010 we brought Jerry in to work our senior, U21 and minors teams. He began by assessing and developing individual programmes for each player and engaged them with an intensive 8 week preseason programme. During the playing season Jerry continued to monitor the players' progress through periodic sessions with them. We were so pleased with Jerry's input into the club training sessions that we asked him back for the following season and expanded his role to include
functional movement and core strengthening with our U14 and U16 teams.
Jerry's bubbly character, knowledge on functional training and development and attention to detail make him an excellent communicator and trainer for all our teams at all levels. At the end of the 2011 season the senior team which whom Jerry had worked with won the Senior County Club Championship for the first time.

We are continuing to use Jerry's expertise on an on-going
